Dentures & Partial Dentures

Although in most cases, dental implants are the restoration of choice for missing teeth, dentures are sometimes the preferred treatment choice. Dentures are a cost-effective solution in general, particularly if you can’t afford implants at the moment.

If dentures are the right solution for you we will ensure you get the best dentures possible.

How can you make my dentures look good?

First and foremost by studying, measuring, and studying and measuring some more. The fitting stage is crucial. Dentures must be customized and designed to fit your mouth. We use the latest technology to design dentures that will blend right in.

Don’t need to replace ALL your teeth? Partial dentures can help you save money and still look great. Our dental design experts match partial dentures to your existing teeth so they look as natural as possible.

We have other ways to help your dentures look even more natural. For example, we may suggest implant-supported dentures, which snap your dentures into place on two or four dental implants. The dental implants ensure that the dentures don’t move around, so that you will have a rock-solid, natural-feeling restoration.

How do you make dentures comfortable?

A little soreness is unavoidable, but again, this is why the fitting process is so important. We take pains to make sure the fit of your dentures is perfect.

We’ve seen too many people with ill-fitting dentures that trigger the gag reflex, or are unstable, flapping around and falling out.

Any pain soreness or pain should go away, but if it doesn’t, seek dental help.

How much do dentures cost?

Most people choose dentures because they’re the most cost-effective tooth replacement option. Dentures can cost anywhere from $350 to $5000 whilst $1500 to $3000 is the average cost. Most dental insurance plans will cover at least 50% of the cost. The cost of dentures really depends on how many teeth you need to replace. You can consult with us to decide which solution is the best fit for your budget.

Can I switch from dentures to some other solution (like implants) later?

Yes. You can switch over to dental implants at a later date.

The only thing you’ll need to keep in mind is that most patients experience some jaw bone loss while wearing dentures, this is pretty much unavoidable. That may require us to fix the problem with a jaw bone graft, or with zygomatic implants (special implants that are used in cases where there is minimal jaw bone remaining).

Many of our patients wear dentures as a long term temporary solution, while they are saving up for dental implants, and eventually switch over. Implants are the best long-term solution, and you’re never too old to have them
